Savings Accounts and Federal Regulation D

Federal regulation limits the number of withdrawals and/or transfers that may be made from any savings or money market account by check, debit card or other electronic means to a combined total of six per statement cycle. Any withdrawal or transfer over the limit, regardless of the method, will result in an excess transaction fee. Repeatedly exceeding the limit may result in your account type being changed or possibly even closed.

1Quarterly and monthly service charges are separate from Dormant Account Fees. Any savings account that has no activity for 12 consecutive months will be subject to a $7.00 per month Dormant Account Fee.

2Interest rate tiers are as follows:

  • $100,000 - $100,000+
  • $25,000 - $99,999
  • $2,500 - $24,999
