Summary
Coordinate with the Loan Processing Manager in implementing and carrying out bank policy and procedures with respect to overall operations of the bank. Perform various duties to assist in processing and servicing of commercial and consumer loans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Commercial Responsibilities
- Type loans, security agreements, titles, sworn statements, etc.
- Update UCC listing and filing continuations when needed; file UCC's with state and county.
- Assist customers as well as tellers and other bank personnel with general information concerning loans.
- Order appraisals, surveys, title work, UCC searches, Flood certificates, etc.
- Maintain loan files with current insurance policies and binders; mail delinquent insurance notices.
- Apply participation loan payments and wire transfers on participation loans.
- Handle payments for escrow account for insurance.
- Scan loan documents for electronic storage.
- Perform various clerical duties such as answering the telephone, typing, filing, etc.
- Compliance with all bank policies, regulations and laws applicable to carrying out duties and responsibilities.
- Assist loan officers in ensuring they have documents necessary for each loan.
Consumer Responsibilities
- Type all documents pertaining to installment loans, home equity and home asset (title applications, sworn statements).
- Maintain tickler system for loans requiring insurance.
- Process customer claims with insurance carrier.
- Assist customers as well as tellers and other bank personnel with general information concerning loans.
- Compile loan paperwork for processing through proof and input on computer system.
- Maintain loan files with current insurance policies and binders and mail delinquent insurance notices.
- Review taxes and accounts for spring tax sale on Home Equity accounts.
- Handle payments from escrow accounts for taxes and insurance on Equity accounts.
- Perform various clerical duties such as answering the telephone, typing, filing, etc.
- Send letters to customers for maturing Home Equity Lines of Credit and Home Equity Term loans.
- Check and mail out monthly Home Equity statements.
- Order and keep supplies stocked.
- Scan loan documents for electronic storage.
- Review new consumer loans.

Desired Education, Training, and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical Skills Needed
- Knowledge and experience with operating a computer, calculator, and other general office equipment.
- Excellent social and communication skills:
- Use professional and clear verbal communication skills.
- High quality writing skills, using accurate word usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all written correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Use professional phone etiquette, including tone and volume of voice.
Mental Effort Needed
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures and written instructions, as well as verbal instructions or directions from his/her supervisor.
